Lualdi is a historic company of Italian design in the field of interior doors, custom furniture and contract, managed by the fourth generation of the family. The industrial turning point began in the sixties thanks to the close symbiosis created with the architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni. The first reliable information on the family's activity dates back to 1859, when Carlo Lualdi created an artisan carpentry shop in Marcallo for the production of bespoke furniture. In the mid-fifties Lualdi began an intense collaboration with the architects of the Milanese bourgeoisie: Vico Magistretti, Anna Castelli Ferrieri, Ignazio Gardella, Roberto Menghi, Marco Zanuso and Luigi Caccia Dominioni, with whom a consolidated agreement was created, which will last time and which leads to the company's industrial turnaround. In the nineties, Lualdi started the process of internationalization in the USA and the UK and collaborated with important architects. At the beginning of the 2000s the company opened Lualdi Inc. in the USA, the showrooms in New York and Miami and proceeded with the expansion of the production plant in Marcallo.
